Understand what T700, T800 and T1000 carbon-fiber labels mean, what they do not prove, and what B2B bike buyers should verify.
T700, T800, and T1000 are commonly used names for carbon-fiber product families, but the label alone does not determine the quality, stiffness, weight, durability, or safety of a bicycle frame. A finished frame is a composite structure made from fiber, resin, reinforcement, and many shaped plies. Design, fiber orientation, laminate thickness, consolidation, curing, interfaces, and quality control all matter.
For B2B buyers, the right question is not "Which number is highest?" It is "What exact material statement applies to this model, and what evidence connects that statement to the quoted product?"
Higher-number labels are often presented as a simple quality ladder. That is misleading because a fiber property is not the same as a frame property. A supplier may combine different materials within one structure, selecting them for different functions, manufacturability, cost, or damage tolerance.
